Recognizing a community need for meeting and banquet space and a need for improvements to the existing Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course Club House; the City of Goldsboro purchased the property in February 2015. Following interior renovations and exterior improvements to compliment the golf course, the Event Center opened to the public in March 2016.
